Primary Nutrients

  • Nitrogen is one of the most important nutritional elements for plants and is required in comparatively large amounts. It is absorbed from the roots mostly as nitrate and used in the synthesis of the chlorophyll, amino acids, the proteic substances and enzymes of the DNA. Nitrogen is mobile within the plant and, therefore, Nitrogen deficiency symptoms are expressed on older leaves. Nitrogen deficiencies might result in stunted growth, chlorotic leaves and significantly reduced yield.

    Nitrogen fertilizers always be used at the start of vegetative growth or at the beginning of the growth of shoots and leaves, promotes root elongation and vegetative growth, help the plants to obtain optimal growth.
